Rates were great for the room, which had everything we needed. However, we thought it would be closer to a beach, but alas was not. But was only a 10-15 min drive so, not too bad. Quiet little area and next to an Heb and walmart for convenient shopping.
Just stayed here this weekend and I plan on coming back. Pool was perfect, the rooms were huge and having the kitchen was great! Customer service wasn’t really a focus of mine but the gentleman who checked us in was wonderful!
Rooms are clean, and they are good size. Beds seem to be comfortable. I haven't slept yet. The bathroom is good-sized. Good water pressure. Kitchen, nit no pots & pans or utensils. Did not go to pools.
Nice that it has separate bedroom... perfect space for current trip.... update.. @owners.. I'm in with an increase if you need to recoup the necessary additions to these rooms... some guest like to sleep in dark (not just during the night) so adding curtains is a necessity.
Room was great for the price. Some trash missed under bed. Friendly staff. Wish the AC worked better in rm 129. Set at 65 but temp never got under 79 in this room. Great location, close to south padre island and viewed space X launch.
No frills, but a decent price for a large apartment type room. Owner and cleaning staff were nice. Location is near everything. Rooms were outdated and could use a little remodeling but would definetely stay here again. Nice quiet atmosphere.
Safe to say that my family has gone here since the 2000s. (1/3: Rooms) The rooms are very spacious for the price and (all rooms that we a have stayed in so far) have been clean. The kitchen is a huge plus because it can save money on eating out! Pricing is incredible, all of this for $80 or under. The pool is also great. It has been clean and if you hate the salty water, you can go to the pool! Overall 5/5 (2/3: Service) Okay... The person at the front office is not very friendly. They have a bit of attitude and can be rude at times. Otherwise, we had no problem with them. Overall 3/5 (3/3: Location) THE BEST LOCATED HOTEL. What I mean is that the building is located conveniently close to stores. So close, you can walk. Nevertheless, the building is located not too far from the island and not on the island. Since Padre can get loud at night, you may have a lot of trouble sleeping. However, this place is in an area that relatively quiet at night, perfect for sleep. Overall 5/5
It’s cheap, so we obviously don’t expect 5-star hotel quality. It’s good enough to sleep in. It’s fairly clean and everything in functional except for a light in the room. AC was great. Shower was hot. It has a small kitchen but we didn’t use. It’s very close to the overpass. Overall great value. We would stay here again. We really disliked the outside light that shines all night through the window. It’s difficult to sleep with bright lights.
